Developing Confidence in Research Evidence

May 9 @ 3:00 pm 5:00 pm

Teaching is such a busy and all-consuming profession; we don’t always have time to keep up with educational trends and government policy. The last decade especially has seen teaching and teacher training become much more research evidence informed. This enjoyable session is for any teacher who would like to feel more confident in their understanding of research and education today.

The session will cover:

1. Why is education so research evidence focused now?

2. Can research help with the challenges teachers face?

3. Where might I look for research evidence?

4. How can I evaluate a piece of evidence?

5. How might I use research in my practice?
