Welcome to the dates overview page for your ECF Journey. Although the dates are available here, you must book onto your chosen events via the EDT dashboard to ensure that we have space for you at your chosen venue. If you are not sure which cohort you are in, please check via the EDT dashboard.

ECT training overview
The image below highlights the 2-year schedule that ECTs follow. Local Group Sessions last 3 hours and Regional Sessions are a full day. In addition to the below, you will also have your self study to complete which will cover blocks 1-12 across the 2 years.
Mentor Training overview (from Sept 2023 onwards)
The image below highlights the 2-year schedule that Mentors follow. All training is virtual and you should download the workbook for your online session before attending. In addition to the below, you will also have your self study to complete which will cover blocks 1-12 across the 2 years. If your ECT has started at a different time to you, you should still complete your self study in line with your start date.
ECF Dates – ECTs
If you are an ECT in a September cohort, you have 3 options of events and you must choose which one you will attend. One of the 3 events is a SEND option. This is for ECTs who work in Specialist Provision. If you are part of the January or April cohorts and work in a Specialist Provision, you are more than welcome to attend the SEND events in addition to your scheduled sessions as these are tracked for your engagement with the DfE. If you wish to attend the SEND events in addition to your own events, please email tshinfo@nllt.co.uk.
Please also remember to book onto your chosen event to let us know if you are able to attend (link above). Some venues have limited spaces so you need to ensure that you place is booked to secure your place on your chosen event.
ECF Dates – Mentor
Mentors should attend every option available to them. From September 2024, there is an additional ‘drop-in’ option whereby you can book a slot with a member of the team to discuss any technical issues or ask any questions regarding the programme. Alternatively, any queries can be sent via email to ecf@nllt.co.uk at any time and the team will be happy to help.
As a reminder, Mentors have their own study to complete to train as a mentor. If you have an ECT working on different blocks to you, you should still continue to access you training and self study in line with your cohort. You can access the relevant ECT-Mentor meeting session materials via the the Explore tab on the dashboard to support your ECTs within their blocks of study.

What it does: Wordfence offers a feature for a site visitor to bypass country blocking by accessing a hidden URL. This cookie helps track who should be allowed to bypass country blocking.
