Mathematical Thinking for GCSE

This fully-funded professional development opportunity is designed to support teachers of KS4 who want to expand their pedagogical and theoretical understanding of developing mathematical thinking.  
The Work Group will develop understanding of mathematical thinking as it relates to problem-solving and reasoning, using practical task types to explore what it means for students to get better at mathematical thinking and what this looks like in the classroom. Specialist Knowledge for Teaching Mathematics Programme For Early Career Teachers

This fully funded professional development opportunity supports secondary early career teachers (teachers in their first two years of teaching) in developing specialist knowledge for teaching mathematics.  Participants will work deeply on one area of maths, drawing in the associated pedagogy, and activities will include lesson analysis and lesson design.
