Get teaching experience with an internship

A teaching internship can help you to understand what it’s really like in the classroom. They’re available for university students with an interest in teaching who are either in their second, third or final year of an undergraduate degree, or studying towards a master’s degree.

Internships last 3 weeks, start in June or July and you’ll be paid £455 per week. Placements are limited, so you should apply early to make sure you get an internship.

Once you've finished your internship, you can decide if you want to train to teach in England and get qualified teacher status (QTS). As an ITT provider, we can support you with your application and next steps into teaching!
